Denton police investigating officer-involved shooting

Denton police are asking for patience at an apartment complex while they investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred Tuesday morning.

No officers were hurt in the shooting that happened sometime before 6 a.m. in the 200 block of Inman Street, police said.

Police provided few details but said there is no ongoing threat to the public and that police activity will continue in the area for an extended amount of time.
