New la Madeleine location to open in Garland Walmart

Beginning in July, Walmart shoppers can make their typical grocery and supply run and also pick up some French bistro food in the same trip.

Dallas-based French bakery and bistro chain la Madeleine is set to open its first express location inside the Northwest Garland Walmart at 5302 N Garland Ave.

The grab-and-go location will be smaller than the chain’s other restaurants, but each la Madeleine Express location will feature a full kitchen to serve up typical menu items, according to a media spokesperson.

Nine other la Madeleine Express locations are expected to open around DF-W, including one in Mesquite at 200 US Highway 80 E sometime in September.
