20 year old fatally shot while driving through Buckner Terrace early Sunday, police say

A 20-year-old died after he was shot Sunday morning driving through the Buckner Terrace neighborhood.

Eddi Lopez was driving in the 4800 block of South Buckner Boulevard just before 4:30 a.m. when someone in another vehicle shot him, according to a Dallas Police Department news release.

Lopez was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Police said the suspect vehicle is a dark-colored four-door sedan.

The investigation is ongoing.
