Fort Worth Fire mourns death of Captain Thaddeus Raven

On Sunday, fire officials announced via social media the passing of Captain Thaddeus “Thad” Raven, aged 57.

Captain Raven dedicated 25 years of service to the city of Fort Worth and held the position of Head of Recruitment.

His exceptional contributions were instrumental in facilitating the graduation of the department’s most diverse class of recruits in 2022, marking a historic milestone in its 129-year history.

The Fort Worth Fire Department expressed that Captain Raven’s impactful legacy will endure beyond his passing.

In a Facebook post, they conveyed their condolences to his family during this challenging period.
