Man sentenced to 40 years in prison after attacking female jogger in McKinney

A 23-year-old man was sentenced to 40 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of aggravated robbery, the Collin County District Attorney’s office announced Monday. A woman was stabbed to death in Far East Dallas early Sunday, according to police. The stabbing was reported about 5:40 a.m. near Hunnicut Road and St. Francis Avenue.
