Houston crime climbs for third month; burglary rises, theft drops

Crime reports in Houston saw an overall increase last month, for the third month in a row, according to data from SpotCrime, which collects data from police agencies and validated sources. Incidents rose by 0.1 percent, from 8,908 in November to 8,915 in December. Burglary and assault reports increased the most from the previous month. Burglary rose from 1,204 reported incidents …
