Enter this Garland contest and possibly get your design on a t-shirt

Garland’s Convention & Visitors Bureau (Visit Garland) is seeking designs that capture the spirit of the city.

“The rest of the world should see Garland as the innovative and visionary community that we all know,” the contest page for Visit Garland reads.

In addition to possibly having the design on a limited-edition t-short, the organization is offering gift cards worth $300 for winning designs.

“We could use help from Garland’s creatives to help spread the pride, brand and imagery of our city,” the contest page reads.

The deadline is Dec. 10, with the designs possibly being used by Visit Garland in future marketing material.

The bureau noted that there could be multiple winners, explaining that there is no cap set on the number of designs that could be selected.

The winning Garland designs will appear on limited edition t-shirts, and they could possibly be used in promotional materials.

The contest’s guidelines include the stipulation that the artwork must be original and somehow represent Garland. Submissions must be entered as JPEGs or PNGs and those submitting must grant City of Garland and Visit Garland permission to use the designs.
