Sunny, pleasant pattern continues

Sunny and quiet weather is in store for North Texas today. After a cold start, temperatures will warm into the low 60s this afternoon.

Today’s light wind will be followed by strong winds on Wednesday, with gusts to 30 mph possible. Continued dry weather is expected Wednesday.

Later in the week, we’re watching the potential for showers and thunderstorms Thursday and Friday. Some of the storms could be on the strong side Friday, especially east of the DFW area. The timing for these storms looks to be late Friday into Friday night.
