Two men dead in apparent murder-suicide after argument during double date

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Two men are dead in an apparent murder-suicide, according to deputies.

Deputies say the two men and their significant others were on a double date earlier Saturday evening.

According to deputies, the couples had gone mudding when the men got into some type of disturbance or argument. When they got back to the Idleloch Subdivision, one man tried to leave the argument, but had to stop to secure his ATV.

The suspected shooter walked up to him,continued the fight and shot the man.

When deputies arrived, they made contact with the shooter, but he ran into his house. Deputies say they heard a gunshot inside the house and they found him dead inside.

Deputies haven’t released the names of the two men, but they were both in their 30s.
