Man fatally shot at Fort Worth bar, police say

A man was fatally shot during an argument at a Fort Worth bar Saturday, police said.

Officers were called about 9:30 p.m. to the La Botica bar in the 3700 block of Hemphill Street, near I-35W and West Biddinson Street, where they found the wounded man on the floor.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hopsital and died of his injuries, police said.

Detectives learned that another male had been arguing with the victim before he shot him and fled in a vehicle, police said.

Homicide detectives were interviewing a person of interest, police said Sunday.
