The heat continues

A Heat Advisory is in effect for North Texas through Saturday. High temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s combined with high humidity will produce afternoon heat index values of 105 to 110 for the next few days.

The hot and dry weather will likely last through most of next week. Be sure to stay hydrated and take plenty of breaks in shaded areas if you plan to be outdoors. Remember to check on the elderly and keep your pets cool with plenty of fresh water.
