Additional showers likely today

Scattered showers and a few storms are ongoing this morning across parts of North Texas. There will be a continued chance for a few showers through mid-afternoon, but the rain will not be as widespread or as long-lasting as it was on Tuesday. High temperatures will remain below normal again today, in the low 90s.

Thursday looks dry, hotter and humid with highs in the mid to upper 90s and a heat index above 100. A shot of somewhat cooler and less humid air arrives Friday with another chance of showers, as a cold front moves into the area.

The weekend will be dry with highs in the low 90s.
