Death of man involved in crash at Forest Lane, U.S. 75 service road was homicide, Dallas police say

Dallas police say the death of a man involved in a car crash early Friday morning was the result of homicidal violence.

Police were sent around 2:30 a.m. Friday to a crash at the intersection of the Central Expressway service road and Forest Lane, where a white Chevrolet Tahoe had struck a sedan.

The driver of the Tahoe, who police say was a Black man in his 30s, fled on foot. The passenger, identified as 18-year-old Jasper Green, was taken to an area hospital, where he died.

While investigating, police say they determined that Green had been killed by homicidal violence. Further details were not immediately available.
