Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a burning truck in South Dallas Wednesday morning. Police said they believe a crime occurred but did not elaborate about what happened.
Firefighters responded about 8 a.m. to a report of a truck on fire in the 4800 block of Huey Street, near Elsie Faye Heggins Street, KTVT-TV (CBS11) reported.
The site is about a mile and a half southeast of Fair Park.
The body was found once the blaze was extinguished, the news station said. The person who died has not yet been identified.
