Dallas police looking for person who shot dog in east Oak Cliff

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help identifying the person who shot a dog last week in east Oak Cliff.

Police said Friday that the gray pit-bull-type dog was shot about 4 a.m. Dec. 11 in the 4300 block of Cardinal Drive, near Fordham Road and Sunnyvale Street.

The dog was seriously wounded but survived the shooting, police said. They did not release the dog’s name.
