High water locations reported on Houston-area roads

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Keep an eye on high water locations on Houston area roads and other trouble spots for drivers, as heavy storms bring flooding rains.

Remember, if you come across high water, don’t attempt to drive through it. Turn around, don’t drown.

The following high water locations have been reported by Houston Transtar:

  • I-45 Gulf Freeway southbound before Scott Street — Right shoulder, right lane, center lanes impacted – Verified 1:52 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19

 

  • I-45 Gulf Freeway northbound at North Main Street — Right shoulder, right lane, center lanes impacted – Verified 2:02 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19

 

  • I-45 North Freeway northbound after Tidwell Road — 3 frontage road lanes impacted – Verified 2:11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19

 

  • I-45 North Freeway northbound after Airline Drive — 3 frontage road lanes impacted – Verified 2:13 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19

 

  • I-45 North Freeway northbound after Parker Road — 3 frontage road lanes impacted – Verified 2:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19
