Man who had just helped victim of rollover crash is killed by vehicle on Dallas’ Spur 408, police say

A man was struck and killed by a vehicle moments after he had helped the victim of a rollover crash on Spur 408 in central Oak Cliff early Saturday morning, police said.

Around 12:47 a.m. Saturday, a 23-year-old woman driving a black SRX Cadillac was driving southbound near the 1700 block of Spur 408 when she hit the man, according to police.

At the time, the man was returning to his vehicle after helping someone who had been involved in a single-car rollover, police said. Dallas Fire-Rescue too the man to a hospital, where he died.

The incident had resulted in no charges as of Saturday morning.
