Shooter at large after man is fatally shot in Red Bird, Dallas police say

Dallas police are investigating after a man was fatally shot Monday night in Red Bird.

Officers were called about 9:45 p.m. to a home in the 600 block of West Millett Drive, near T.G. Terry Elementary School, where 37-year-old Cedric Tolbert had been shot multiple times. Public records indicate that he lived at the home.

Tolbert was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made and police did not say whether any suspects had been identified.
