20-year-old man killed, 2 others hurt in gunfire exchange at Red Bird-area barber shop

One person was killed and two others were injured Friday in a shooting at LA Stylez barber shop in the Red Bird area.

Dallas police responded to a shooting call around 11:40 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Camp Wisdom Road, near Marvin D. Love Freeway.

Police said that the shooting occurred during an argument between two people, 20-year-old Kenaijae Anderson.

Police said that during an argument, an unidentified person pulled out a gun and fired at 20-year-old Kenaijae Anderson, hitting him. Anderson shot back.

Anderson, the other person and an unidentified witness, who also was hit during the exchange of gunfire, were all taken to a hospital.

Anderson died at the hospital, police said. Details about conditions of the two others were not available.

The name of the intial gunamn won’t be released until he’s booked into jail, police said.
