More sun and warmer Sunday ahead

Sunday will be the warmest day of the weekend with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 80s.

The warm and dry weather pattern will continue through the start of the work week with highs in the mid 80s. Additional chances for showers and storms will return by Wednesday and will linger into Thursday. A few storms could be strong to severe. But the main threat may be locally heavy rain.
