Rain chances return Wednesday

Wednesday begins with dry weather, but rain and storm chances will increase by midday as a weakening complex of showers and thunderstorms approaches from the northwest. A few strong to marginally severe storms cannot be ruled out, especially west of Fort Worth. Otherwise, expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low 80s.

Temperatures will remain unseasonably cool for early June with highs in the low 80s for the next several days. The normal high temperature this time of year is in the upper 80s.

A wet weather pattern will persist through the weekend with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms each day. While severe weather does not look to be a threat at this time, there will be a chance of heavy rain from time to time.
