Teen dies after shooting outside Fort Worth high school

A teenage boy died two days after a shooting outside Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth.

Police were called about 5:20 p.m. Monday to the school, near Meadowbrook Drive and Weiler Boulevard, where a shooting had been reported in the parking lot. According to a police incident report, a 911 caller said the shooter drove away.

The teen was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition.

He died Wednesday, authorities said. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office has not released his name.
