Two suspects have been arrested in southeastern Texas and a third remains at large after the slaying of a Sachse man found dead in his home earlier this month.
Taylor Nichole James, 31, and Zachary Wayne Shoppa, 27, each face a charge of capital murder in connection with the death of Salah Eid. Authorities are still looking for Brandon Duepree Dale, 40, on a capital murder warrant.
Police were called the evening of June 7 to Eid’s home in the 3500 block of Glenhaven Drive, where they found him dead.
They have not released additional information about his slaying or how they identified the suspects.
James was taken into custody June 17 in Wharton and is being held in the Wharton County jail, with bail set at $1 million.
Shoppa was arrested June 18 in Sealy and is being held in the Fort Bend County jail. He also faces a charge of theft, jail records show, and his bail is set at $1.3 million.
It is unclear whether either James or Shoppa has an attorney.
