1 dead, 1 injured following crash in Denton

DENTON, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured in a three-vehicle crash in Denton Sunday morning.

The wreck happened just after 9 a.m., on E. University Drive at Trinity Road.

There were three vehicles involved, and police said two people were taken to a hospital, where one was later pronounced dead.

All eastbound and westbound lanes were closed at Mayhill and Rockhill while authorities investigated.
