Amber Alert: Missing baby abducted by his mother, Ennis police say

Police in Ennis are asking for the public’s help finding an abducted infant they believe to be in grave danger.

An Amber Alert has been activated for 7-month-old Miguel Ramirez, who was last seen about 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Shawnee Street.

Police said the boy’s mother, 20-year-old Faith Reid, and a man went into the home without consent and took the child. The man, who has not been identified, then got into an altercation with Miguel’s father, pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot him, police said.

They then drove off in a white Ford F150 with an extended cab.

Miguel is described as white, 26 inches long and about 25 pounds, with light brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white Mickey Mouse diaper.

Reid is described as white, 5-2 and about 115 pounds, with blond hair and green eyes.

No description was available for man.
