Spotty afternoon storms remain in the forecast

Storm chances stay in the forecast this week. No single day will be a washout and many will stay dry. The highest chances for widespread afternoon showers and storms will be south and southwest of the DFW metro area, but isolated storms are still possible in and around DFW.

Temperatures this week will remain below normal. The normal night for early July is 94 degrees. Highs will be near 90 through the upcoming weekend. Humidity levels will be seasonably high but not oppressive.
