HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man was shot and killed and three others were injured in a shooting at a bar in north Houston, investigators say.
It happened at Sammie J’s Bar and Grill on North Houston Rosslyn Rd. around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
According to a tweet posted by Houston police, a man and a woman were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Police later said the man died at the hospital. Two other people reportedly went to the hospital on their own.
There’s no information regarding a suspect or suspects.
Investigators are clearing out the area and drivers are being asked to avoid the scene.
The violence at the bar qualifies as a mass shooting, according to the Gun Violence Archive.
It’s at least the 380th mass shooting in the U.S. this year. The shooting is the 14th this week in the nation.
It’s also the third in Texas this week alone.
