Carrollton police ask public’s help in finding retired NFL player Frank Cornish III

Carrollton police are asking for the public’s help finding retired NFL player Frank Cornish III, 77, who was last seen early Friday.

Police said Cornish was last seen around 5:30 a.m. near the 4200 block of Hunt Drive in Carrollton. He left his home without his cellphone and a breathing device that he requires, police said.

Cornish was driving a white Ford F-150 pickup with a temporary license plate, police said. He was wearing burgundy sweat pants, a white and orange jersey, and house shoes.

Cornish played for the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills. He played against the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl VI while with the Dolphins.
