83-year-old woman who went missing has been found safe, police say

McKinney police are asking for the public’s help finding an 83-year-old woman who was reported missing Friday morning.

Daisy Norwood was last seen about 2:50 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Valley View and Marsh lanes in Farmers Branch, police said. She was in a beige, 2015 Nissan Altima with license plate number 6KNPV, police said.

Norwood is 5-foot-2 and 175 pounds with white hair with brown eyes. She may be suffering from a medical condition that could endanger her health and safety, police said.
