41-year-old man fatally shot in West Dallas, police say

Police are investigating the death of a man who was shot at a beer and wine store in West Dallas Friday night.

Officers responded to a shooting call at Speedy Beer & Wine, located in the 1900 block of Singleton Boulevard, about 7:15 p.m.

Officers found 41-year-old Simmion Diya Dillard suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
