The Collin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a 79-year-old man who drove away from his home Saturday afternoon.

Jerry Smith drove away from his home near Weston, Texas, around 3:45 p.m. He shows signs of a cognitive impairment and may need help, the sheriff’s office said.
Smith was last seen driving a silver or pewter extended cab Chevy Silverado with Texas license plate 1SVWH. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information about Smith’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact their local police department.
