Have a kid from 5 to 11 who will get a COVID-19 shot once they’re approved? We want to hear from you

Pfizer and BioNTech announced last month that data from a trial of their COVID-19 vaccine in children found that it provided strong protection in kids ages 5 to 11.

The companies have submitted the data to federal regulators for review, and said they plan to submit a formal request for an emergency-use authorization “in the coming weeks.” The Food and Drug Administration has already scheduled an advisory committee meeting for later this month in anticipation of that request, and a decision would likely come days after.

Reporters with want to hear from families with children in the 5-to-11 age group who are waiting for the vaccine to be approved.

Do you plan to get a vaccine for your child when it becomes available? How will having your child vaccinated change your family’s life? What has life been like this year, if only part of your family has been able to get the vaccine?

We’d like to hear about your experience. Let us know by filling out the form below.
