Storms moving east, gusty winds to follow

A line of strong to severe storms moved through DFW Wednesday morning.

Rain chances will quickly exit early Wednesday before sunshine returns. Cooler and windier weather will follow the cold front.

A Wind Advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph will be possible, with gusts around 40 mph. Be sure to secure any loose objects. Thursday will be even windier with wind speeds around 20 to 30, and gusts 40 to 45 mph, or higher. The weekend looks nice for outdoor plans and trick-or-treating.
