Dallas police seeking person who abandoned rat terrier-type dog in South Dallas last month

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person who abandoned a dog in South Dallas last month.

Police said just before 9 p.m. Oct. 5, someone abandoned a multicolored, rat terrier-type dog in the 3400 block of Hamilton Avenue, near Fair Park. The dog was left in a wire crate near the road, police said.

The person was driving a white or light-colored SUV that was possibly a Nissan Armada, police said.
