Big weather changes this weekend

Friday will be mild. There will be a chance for scattered showers and storms Friday, especially in the afternoon and at night. An isolated storm may become severe Friday night. Gusty winds are the main risk. A strong cold front will arrive Saturday afternoon. A strong north wind will usher in a substantial push of colder air.

Expect freezing temperatures on both Sunday and Monday mornings. Sunday morning will offer a hard freeze with temperatures in the upper tees to mid-20s. Wind chill values Sunday morning will be down in the teens.
