Road rage at fast-food restaurant led to fatal shooting in Fort Worth, police say

Road rage led to a shooting that left a man dead and a woman wounded Saturday morning, Fort Worth police said.

Officers were called about 5:30 a.m to a shooting in the 4400 block of Wayside Avenue, near McCart Avenue and West Seminary Drive. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman who both appeared to have been shot.

They were taken to hospitals, and the man was pronounced dead, police said. His name has not been released.

The woman’s condition is unknown, police said.

Detectives determined the shooting happened after a road-rage incident started at a nearby fast-food restaurant. A vehicle followed another to a home where the shooting occurred, police said.

The suspected shooter is cooperating with authorities, police said. No arrests have been made.
