Boy fatally shot in Fort Worth, police say

A boy was fatally shot in Fort Worth on Saturday morning, police say.

Officers responded to a shooting call about 11:35 a.m. in the 6050 block of Stoneybrook Drive, near Boca Raton Boulevard and Oakland Hills Drive.

Police said officers found the juvenile victim with a gunshot wound in his upper torso. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Police did not provide the boy’s name or age.

Detectives were interviewing the shooter and witnesses Saturday afternoon, police said, and no arrests have been made.
