Breezy, sunny, and mild today

After ferocious wind Sunday and overnight, the wind is still quite breezy this morning, but it will gradually diminish later today. Expect mild to warm conditions for this afternoon with a high into the 70s. Tuesday will be even warmer with a high into the 80s. Plenty of sunshine can be expected Monday and Tuesday before the clouds return Wednesday with a chance of rain.

Rain chances will increase late Wednesday and especially Thursday as another storm system approaches North Texas. Some strong thunderstorms are possible Thursday.

Highs will drop into the 50s with overnight lows into the 30s by Friday. A freeze will be possible on Friday morning across Northwest North Texas. We’ll start another warming trend heading into next weekend.
