Rainy weather pattern coming to an end

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The wet and active weather pattern as of late comes to a halt Wednesday through Friday.

You can expect clouds to give way to period of sunshine throughout the day. As we move into the afternoon there will be just enough moisture in place and daytime heat to trigger a couple of thunderstorms. Those storms are expected to dissipate as we move into the evening. A period of relatively dry weather is expected to through Friday.

How much longer will this rainy weather pattern continue?

A weak front arriving Wednesday should push the deeper moisture far enough away to lower our rain chance to 20% or less for a few days.

Does the weekend look any better?

It does look like another weak cool front will move through Saturday to bring our next chance for showers and storms, but it shouldn’t be as widespread as what we saw this past weekend. If all goes according to plan, we should dry out late Sunday and most of next week!
