Three individuals have been hospitalized following a shooting incident at a recording studio in Arlington.

Three men, including two suspects, have been hospitalized after a shooting incident at a recording studio in Arlington on Saturday night.

The incident occurred around 10:25 p.m. in the 2100 block of North Collins Street.

Upon receiving a 911 call from employees at a business in the 800 block of E. Lamar Boulevard, Arlington Police responded to find a 29-year-old man seeking help with a gunshot wound. He informed officers that he was at a recording studio on N. Collins Street producing music when two masked assailants entered and began shooting at him.

The victim retaliated with his firearm, possibly injuring the shooters. He was treated at the scene and later transported to a local hospital, where he is expected to recover.

While some officers were en route to the studio, they received a tip about a stolen car leaving the shooting scene. The vehicle was believed to be connected to the incident, and a brief chase ensued when officers attempted to pull it over.

The pursuit ended on the 1500 block of NE Green Oaks Boulevard, where the occupants, identified as 30-year-old Kinton Jones and 52-year-old George Duncan, were found with gunshot wounds inside the car. Duncan’s injuries are not life-threatening, while Jones is in the ICU.

Police recovered firearms and a face mask from the stolen car, leading them to believe Jones and Duncan are the suspects in the studio shooting. Evidence at the scene suggests a potential link to high-risk drug activity.

Jones, with prior felony convictions, faces charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, evading, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Duncan is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
