Concerned residents are on edge following the emergence of a massive sinkhole in their neighborhood, with many expressing deep worry about the situation

Clyde McKenzie, a resident of southwest Houston for nearly two decades, is grappling with a nightmarish situation as a massive sinkhole slowly consumes his property.

Initially noticing a small hole in the fall, McKenzie has watched it grow to the size of half a football field.

Expressing deep concern, he pointed out additional sinkholes in the area and visible cracks in the road.

McKenzie attributes the damage to an old drainage pipe connected to a culvert meant to lead to Brays Bayou.

While Houston Public Works is aware of the issue and has inspected the area, McKenzie fears the problem is escalating with each rainfall and calls for urgent assistance.
