Person found dead in submerged vehicle in White Rock Creek, Dallas Police say

Dallas authorities are conducting an investigation following the discovery of a deceased individual inside a submerged vehicle on Sunday evening.

The Dallas Police Department reported that officers and Dallas Fire-Rescue responders were summoned to the 5000 block of Military Parkway at White Rock Creek around 6:55 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, after receiving reports of a vehicle submerged in the water.

Upon arrival, responders encountered an overturned vehicle in the creek. Upon closer inspection, they found a body inside the vehicle.

As of now, the victim’s identity has not been disclosed, and officials have refrained from disclosing the cause of death.
