A woman has been taken into custody following an incident where she allegedly fatally shot one man and wounded another at a southwest Houston apartment complex, according to Houston police.
The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. on Saturday at the Willow Ridge Apartments situated in the 12800 block of Dunlap Street.
Authorities reported a disagreement involving the two men and the woman, although specifics regarding the matter remain unclear.
Allegedly, the woman retrieved a firearm and shot both men without a disclosed motive, according to police.
While one man was pronounced dead at the scene, the second individual sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body and fled the apartment on foot.
The woman reportedly left the area in an unidentified vehicle, possibly accompanied by two children of unspecified ages, as indicated by Lt. Riley from the Houston Police Department.
With no witnesses present, the police have yet to provide a description of the suspect involved.
