Will newly-acquired Stefon Diggs be difficult for Texans? ESPN insider gives insight on WR’s past

The Houston Texans made a significant move on Wednesday by acquiring one of the top receivers in the NFL, Stefon Diggs, in a trade. However, questions have arisen about Diggs’ personality and potential impact on the locker room, given his history of occasional outbursts and discontent with his previous teams, the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills. ESPN NFL Insider Dan Graziano shed light on Diggs’ reputation and locker room presence, highlighting his early success and productivity with both the Vikings and Bills. Graziano acknowledged instances where Diggs expressed frustration publicly, particularly regarding his contract and role in the offense, leading to his trade from Minnesota to Buffalo. Despite these issues, Graziano emphasized that Diggs was not considered a disruptive presence in the locker room and maintained positive relationships with teammates. Graziano believes that Diggs will likely be motivated for a fresh start with the Texans and should not pose significant concerns for the team. The trade involved the Texans acquiring Diggs, along with additional draft picks, from the Bills in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
