Texans hosting uniform release party this month, but you’ll need to do this before you can get in

In Houston, Texas, the anticipation is building for the unveiling of the new Houston Texans uniforms after a sneak peek of one leaked a few weeks ago.

The team has announced a uniform release party scheduled for April 23, just three days before the NFL Draft kicks off. The event, set to take place at 713 Music Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., is free to attend, but fans must enter for a chance to secure tickets due to high demand.

To enter, fans are required to fill out a form, with the opportunity to win up to two tickets. Additionally, attendees are posed with an intriguing question: “If given the opportunity, do you have interest in receiving a FREE Houston Texans-themed tattoo on the evening of the event?” Although no further details have been provided, reports suggest that a real tattoo artist will be present at the event.

During the party, fans will have the chance to get an up-close look at the new uniforms and purchase them, along with exclusive merchandise. Houston artists are expected to perform, although the Texans have not yet announced the lineup.

Unauthorized photos of the white road uniforms surfaced online on March 18, featuring Deep Steel blue pants and horn designs sweeping horizontally around the shoulders on the jerseys. The Texans later confirmed the authenticity of these outfits.

Reports from the Houston Chronicle indicate that the new uniforms will retain the Texans logo but will feature four new versions: road, home, Battle Red, and Homage to H-Town. Speculation is rife about whether the uniforms will incorporate hints of H-Town Blue, reminiscent of the old Oilers colors.

Greg Bailey has already seen the uniforms and expressed excitement about them, although he is bound by secrecy until the official reveal.
