Man dies from multiple gunshot wounds outside apartment complex in E. Harris Co., HCSO says

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation following the discovery of a man’s body in a parking lot adjacent to a vehicle in east Harris County on Friday.

Deputies were called to an apartment complex in the 8700 block of Parkway Forest Drive around 10 p.m. after receiving a report of a man down.

The man was found unresponsive next to his vehicle, described as a blue Isuzu Rodeo, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported the man to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A witness reported hearing gunshots prior to law enforcement’s arrival, but no motive or suspect information has been identified yet.
