In east Harris County on Friday evening, an altercation between two individuals turned deadly, prompting an investigation to determine if charges will be filed, to be decided by a grand jury.
The incident occurred at a residence in the 14100 block of Bonham Street near Hollywood at approximately 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies found the victim lying on the ground and pronounced him dead shortly after.
According to investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the victim was engaged in an altercation with a woman who is reportedly related to the suspect involved.
Subsequently, the suspect arrived at the residence and engaged in a physical altercation with the victim.
After the altercation, the suspect fled the scene but later returned, where law enforcement questioned him.
HCSO stated that the victim did not show any visible injuries. However, the medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of the man’s death, as per investigators.
