Human remains discovered under Garland bridge

Authorities in Garland are conducting an investigation following the discovery of a body beneath a bridge on Sunday.

The body was found in a creek waterway near the intersection of West Campell Road and Water Oak Drive, beneath the bridge, shortly after 10:30 a.m., as reported by the Garland Police Department.

Upon arrival at the scene, personnel from the Garland Fire Department and officials from the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office were summoned to assist in removing debris surrounding the body.

The deceased individual has been identified as an adult male.

At this early stage of the investigation, the police department has stated that it is too premature to ascertain any details regarding the circumstances leading to the man’s death.

The medical examiner’s office is currently endeavoring to determine the victim’s identity and the cause of death.
