Security guard jumps in to save man shot in SW Houston club, police search for suspect

Police in southwest Houston are on the hunt for the individual responsible for a shooting incident that occurred inside VLive Houston Club early Saturday morning.

Responding to the scene at the 6600 block of Harwin Drive, officers found a man in his twenties suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip.

Fortunately, a quick-thinking security guard provided immediate medical assistance to the injured man. Commander Christy Smith of the Houston Police Department stated that law enforcement will be diligent in their search for the suspect, although a description has yet to be released.

Authorities intend to review security camera footage and gather evidence as part of their investigation into the incident.

Details regarding the victim’s condition and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear at this time.
