Woman fatally shot in head after argument with another woman over a man in SE Houston, HPD says

In Houston, Texas, the Houston Police Department is on the lookout for a 21-year-old woman accused of fatally shooting another woman on the city’s south side.

Reportedly, a large BBQ was taking place with numerous attendees on Martin Luther King Boulevard near Belarbor when an altercation erupted between the suspect and a woman, allegedly over a man.

During the altercation, the suspect allegedly retrieved a firearm and shot the victim once in the head before fleeing the scene, according to authorities.

Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead, with no other injuries reported by police.

Multiple witnesses provided statements to HPD regarding the shooting. However, it remains unclear if the two women were acquainted with each other.

The suspect is described as a woman standing at 5 feet tall with a medium build.
